TBC Launches Revamped Website, New Social Media Pages

PHARR, Texas (Feb. 8, 2016) – The Texas Border Coalition (TBC) today launched a new streamlined website, www.texasbordercoalition.org, complete with links to social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

The new TBC website and social media pages are intended to provide more unified communication, and will be an integral part of the coalition’s effort to strengthen its relationships with border communities.

“The goal of TBC is to bring new voices into the border policy discussion,” TBC Chairman J.D. Salinas, III, said. “We look forward to engaging with border Texans on our revamped website and social media pages. We hope they will visit the site, and ‘Follow’ or ‘Like’ us on Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #TXBorderCoalition.”

TBC’s social media sites will act as a quick and simple platform for short updates on the coalition’s activities, providing insight and analysis on economic development, education, healthcare, immigration, security, transportation and workforce issues. Updates also include information about future TBC events in the region – all of which can be easily viewed on mobile devices.

In addition, the website has been redesigned to improve navigation, providing seamless access to TBC’s priority issues, reports, along with video, audio and archived news content.
