Dozens of communities will gather in Eagle Pass next week for the quarterly meeting of the Texas Border Coalition.

Border community leaders, including Eagle Pass Mayor Ramsey English Cantu, will discuss a variety of issues, including state and federal legislative perspectives and priorities for 2017, as well as the workforce and economic development.

Among the officials attending the meeting will be the US Representative Will Hurd, who will give the keynote address on the role of federal government funding for border infrastructure.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, June 2 at the International Centre for Trade.
